The new DVR integration offered by Entro 5.3 provides full compatibility with DVRs in the AX, MX and CX SISTORE ranges from Siemens Building Technologies.   The DVRs can either be connected directly to the Entro Segment Controllers, which means that no additional servers are needed, or they can be linked via an IP network to provide maximum versatility, especially in larger installations.

The DVRs can be configured so that recording is automatically triggered by an Entro event, such as the use of an access token or a keypad.   Recording can also be manually activated from supervisory PCs within the Entro system.   Live CCTV images from any camera can be viewed simply by clicking the appropriate icon on the PC screen.   To help users make best use of stored images, video search and playback facilities are linked to the Entro event log.
